Thank you for visiting!

Miss Native American University of Arizona and her First Attendant serve as ambassadors for the Native American population at the University of Arizona. Both women are able to live in two worlds by practicing traditional values and incorporating them into the contemporary society in which they live.

The Miss Native American University of Arizona pageant is not a typical beauty pageant; no formal gown or swimsuit is necessary for contestants. This pageant stresses the importance of pursuing a college education while maintaining and practicing Native American traditions.

Contestants are judged on the following categories:
A letter of recommendation, essay, personal interview, a traditional talent, a contemporary talent, and their answer to an impromptu question.
